Whale and Dolphin Conservation- Shorewatch Project
Volunteer to help WDC monitor whales and dolphins in Shetland by carrying out a 10-minute survey from dedicated watch sites. Join a network of Shorewatch volunteers across the whole of Scotland who are helping gather data so we can learn more about cetaceans in Scottish waters.

Species on the Edge
Volunteer with Species on the Edge as they take on activities to support a range of species in Shetland, including red-necked phalarope, curlew, lapwing, twite, Shetland bumblebee, oysterplant, endemic hawkweeds and the plantain leaf beetle.

Volunteer activities in Shetland could include, species and habitat surveying and monitoring, habitat management, assisting at events and more.
Led by RSPB Scotland, the Shetland Species on the Edge team are keen for more people to get involved.

RSPB Shetland
